AN IMPORTANT UPDATE...

To do our part to help limit COVID-19 exposure, we have made the following scheduling decisions:

Starting Tuesday, March 17, 2020, we will be altering our schedules to see sick and well visits at different times to help limit any exposure a well patient would have to a sick patient while in the waiting room or lab/x-ray areas.  We do ask that only the patient and one healthy individual come in for the visit.

We recommend that you do NOT come to your wellness checks if either the patient or the person accompanying them is or has been sick for the last week.

We will also accommodate patients with issues such as musculoskeletal problems, constipation, rashes, etc. in the morning if you are not experiencing a fever or breathing issue.  We will have our nursing staff appropriately triage patients to ensure that they meet these criteria.

For infection control reasons, at this time,  we prefer office visits to be scheduled.

Our physicians and nurse practitioners are providing the option of telemedicine visits for our patients.  If you are unable to come to the office for your patient visit, your physician or nurse practitioner will be available to call you and conduct your office visit over the telephone at your scheduled time.

If you have fever and respiratory symptoms (cough, congestion, runny nose), please wear a mask.  These can be found in the lobby.

If the patient or person accompanying them, has been exposed to coronavirus or has traveled to areas with community transmission of coronavirus in the past 14 days, DO NOT come into the office. Call us for instructions on the CPC Care Line at 256-736-2273 (CARE).

Also, please understand that while we do have the ability to test for COVID-19, there will be certain criteria and a process prior to testing.  Please be understanding as we try to be prudent in our use of the limited tests available and save it for those who are most ill.

Our offices will be sanitized between all patients and will be thoroughly cleaned at the end of each business day.

We will be communicating with our patients via text messaging, our Facebook page Cullman Primary Care Multi-Specialty Group and our website www.cpc-pc.com.

Please be aware this is an evolving situation and our recommendations may change over the coming days/weeks.  As always, we are dedicated to being available to our patients especially during difficult and uncertain times such as this.
